If you need to fully downgrade the application itself to an earlier build:
1. Go to the Creative Cloud Desktop app, click the three dots next to After Effects, and select Uninstall. (Choose whether to keep or remove your preferences/plugins).
2. Once uninstalled, click the three dots again and choose Other Versions.
